How to install an offline app or licence on your device using MarTech3D Launcher
Important: There's a new release for MarTech3D Launcher as of 4th September 2025, switching from user-based to device-based licensing. This is backward-compatible and will have no effect on old Launcher installations; it will only streamline how future or subsequent MarTech3D Launchers are installed. 🔍 Ensure your device and browser is compatible
To run your MarTech3D apps offline, you need a Windows laptop or PC, with minimum Windows 11 operating system. Remember, the higher specification of your laptop or PC, the faster and smoother your 3D apps will run!
MarTech3D apps are designed to run offline using the Google Chrome browser. Offline compatibility with other browsers is not guaranteed and support for other browsers is not provided by our support team.
🔍 Make sure you have available device-based licence(s)
A device licence allows one Windows device to run your 3D app offline via the MarTech3D Launcher.
- Licences are per device. You can purchase licences for as many devices as you want.
- Each device can only install once.
- Offline apps will not launch if your licence limit has been reached or used up.
Upon getting your offline licence, you will be provided with a download link
🔍 Installation Process
Open your offline download link (provided by MarTech3D upon procurement of licence).
You'll be taken to a page to begin installation of your MarTech3D Launcher.
The Launcher will go through a series of steps to download, save and cache different files that enable your app to run seamlessly offline. This should take about 2-10 minutes depending on your internet speed and the size of your app.
While the Launcher is downloading your assets, if some assets fail (maybe due to internet or any other reasons), you'll receive a notification with the option to retry download or continue.
If it happens again after retrying, take a snapshot of the failed asset (to send to support@martech3d.com later) then click "continue anyway". Your launcher will then proceed to show you a prompt to optionally name your device
then a button for completing installation:
Select "Complete installation"
And that's it! You're done.
You can now launch your MarTech3D app anytime without internet, by simply searching for it on your apps list, or pinning it to your taskbar or desktop.
