How to duplicate a product and 3D model
You can quickly create a copy of an existing product and its 3D model using the Duplicate Product feature.
This is useful when:
- 🔁 Creating variations of the same product (e.g. different hotspots)
- ⚡ Avoiding re-uploading models
- 🧪 Creating versions for different campaigns or teams
🧭 How to Duplicate a Product
1️⃣ Open the Product Menu
From your Product Library, locate the product you want to duplicate.
Click the menu (⋮) on the product tile.
2️⃣ Select “Duplicate Product”
From the dropdown menu, click:
Duplicate Product
This creates a new copy of the product.
3️⃣ Duplicate the Content
Click:
Duplicate Content
This will copy:
- 3D model
- Product structure
- Associated setup
📦 What Gets Duplicated
When you duplicate a product, the following is copied:
- ✅ 3D model (GLB / USDZ base)
- ✅ Product structure and configuration
- ✅ Existing setup and positioning
✏️ What to Do Next
After duplication, you can:
- Rename the product
- Update descrption
- Change hotspot content
- Create new renders or animations
- Add campaign-specific content
👉 The duplicated product is fully independent from the original.
⚠️ Important Notes
- Changes made to the duplicated product do not affect the original
- Duplicating does not reprocess the model, so it’s fast and efficient
- Use duplication to scale content across large product ranges
